A talk by Victor Ekpuk

Goodness, today:

Stacks of page proofs at work. I love it when there's a lot to proofread.

Someone needed to borrow a bike trainer. I needed someone with tools or more upper body strength than I have to loosen my bike from the trainer it's been stuck in for months. We got together. Both needs met!

Crinkle-cut fries.

The sore spot was less sore today.

A coworker and I got to hear a talk by Nigerian-born artist Victor Ekpuk, whose work is in the Arkansas Arts Center's current drawing exhibit. In the photo, he stands in front of a temporary work he created on site today, which will not outlast the exhibit. I keep thinking about what he said about memory and identity and the ephemeral.
