The newspaper at my doorstep every morning, and the cat-footed carrier who leaves it without waking me, and its rubber band on clear days and slim yellow raincoat on rainy days, both of which I will use again.
The colleague who went out of her way this morning to buy something we needed, and who got us cinnamon rolls on top of that.
The manager who, year after year, fields questions and provides answers and leads meetings calmly and ably, like a batter facing a pitching machine who never misses, no matter how fast and frequently some of those curve balls come at her.
The coworker who remembered something from my life six months ago and used it as an apt illustration.
All the ways we care about and for each other in the course of a work shift.
What worked for you today?
