47. Credo

Highlights from today at the Hutchmoot gathering in Nashville:

Pete Peterson's welcome letter in the welcome packet.

Seeing and hugging people I know; meeting and hugging people I knew only online until today.

Good words to ponder, carefully prepared.

Hearing Andrew Peterson read from his latest book, especially the scene where a troll recites a poem in troll language.

Hearing Luci Shaw read her poem "Credo."

Three delicious meals, seasoned with rich conversation.

A great concert, capped by all of us singing "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," partly a cappella, while the thunder and lightning outside tried to break in and join us.

A friendly home instead of a hotel to come home to, and the garage door thoughtfully left open for me.

What did you love about your life today?

Welcome, Rabbits. Leave your umbrellas here.

Lunch from Baja Burritos.

Someone has lovely hand-lettering-in-chalk skills.

Andy Gullahorn and Jill Phillips and us, "Amazing Grace."
